NaNoWriMo 11.03 / Update 1

5,513 Words5,513 Words!  I’m all caught up!

Well, it’s going well so far.  If I can write 3,725 words on EVERY day off this month, I’ll hit 70,000 words.  Okay, too ambitious, I think, but it’s an interesting prospect.  Livvy’s story is developing quite well.  I don’t know if I mentioned it before, but I didn’t plot out this story, staying true to Chris Baty’s “No Plot, No Problem” anthem.  You just have to go with the flow and trust that the characters will reveal themselves to you… not only do they do that, but they steer the plot in the right direction.  It’s amazing what the imagination is capable of.

Thank you, God, for giving me an overactive imagination.  People in elementary school thought I was crazy with my imaginary pet mouse, George, but how crazy am I now?!  Huh?!  😉

      1. Thanks! Although somehow I feel like, because this was an idea I’ve had for a while, and I had outlined it immensely, I’m not genuinely NaNoing. Maybe next year I’ll switch it up and pants a bit!
